Meeting new people is a lot of fun. We have a new teacher at Amity, so it's a good opportunity to practice introducing yourself. A simple introduction can make new people feel happy and comfortable.
Here is a script for you to follow-
A: Hello, my name is ____. What's your name?
B: My name is ____. Nice to meet you.
A: Nice to meet you too. What food do you like?
B: I like _____. How about you?
A: I like _____.
Please introduce yourself to our new teacher and try to ask her many questions. I'm sure it will make her feel very happy!
From September, the weather starts getting cooler and leaves start changing color. In some countries, this season is called "Fall". This is because leaves start falling from trees. In other countries, this season is called "Autumn". Autumn means "the passing of the year". Both words are correct, but the word "Autumn" was used for about 300 years before people started using the word "Fall". However, the word "Harvest" was used to describe this season long before both of these words. This is because many crops are harvested during this time. There are many festivals around the world to celebrate the food gathered around this time.
