🤓 Grammar Bits: Kinds of Adjectives
Numbers are adjectives, too. They tell you how many people, animals, or things there are. Sometimes they are called adjectives of quantity.
Examples:
one giant
seventeen kittens
five pencils
Other adjectives tell you something about quantity without giving you the exact number. They are also called quantifying determiners.
Examples:
a few sandwiches
some milk
too much sugar
Can you think of more adjectives that describe quantity?
