This week our P5 students will learn about different jobs/professions.
For example: a hair stylist, a politician, a paramedic, a programmer, etc.
We can use these words to answer different questions! For example:
Q: What is his/her job? 💼
A: He/She is a surgeon. 🏥
Q: Would you like to be a programmer? 💻
A: No, I would like to be a hairstylist. 💇
You can use these questions to learn more about your friends and teachers!

今日はインタラクティブレッスンの参観日について紹介します！
小学校低学年のAちゃんは2文字フォニックスの音を聞き取り、正しい文字を選びノートに書きとっている姿を参観してもらいました。
最後にノートに書きとった単語を読むと、お母さんは「すごい！こんなに読めるようになったんだね」と驚きの表情でした。
Aちゃんの読む力が伸びている様子をお母さんにお見せすることができて先生もうれしかったです☺

Our P2 students are continuing to learn the numbers 11-15.
This week we will practice these numbers with the question "How many...are there?"
For example: "How many birds are there?" 🐦🐦
We can answer by saying: "2 birds."
This is a really easy question to ask your kids outside of Amity!
We hope you can practice counting in English together.

今日は小学校低学年クラスの参観日の様子を紹介します(^^)/
低学年クラスでは、"Are these/those ○○?" "Yes, they are." "No, they aren't."の練習をしたあと、
3ヒントクイズをお母さんVS生徒で対決をしました！
お母さんも生徒もヒントを見ながら一生懸命答えを考えることができました◎

ゲームの結果は・・・
生徒チームの勝利でした🚩
よく頑張りましたね☺

This month our P4 students learned how to order food at a restaurant.
One of the phrases we studied was: "I would like a cheeseburger, please." 🍔
This week we will learn a different way to order food!
We can also use the phrase "I'll have a..."
For example: "I'll have a cheeseburger." 🍔
Both phrases have the same meaning so you can use whichever your prefer!

今日は小学生高学年クラスの様子を紹介します！
このクラスでは天気の表現を学び、世界地図をみながら様々な国の天気を表す練習をしました。
国旗を確認していくと、Hくんが「オーストラリアとニュージーランドの国旗が似てる！」と気づいてくれました(^^)
オーストラリアは白い星、ニュージーランドは赤い星でそれぞれ数も違いますね。

This week out P7 students continue to learn frequency words and phrases.
We use these to describe how often we do things.
Some examples of frequency words are: always, sometimes, never.
But we can also use phrases (more than one word) to describe how often we do things!
For example: every day, every other day, several times a week, once every two weeks, etc.
We can use these to make a sentence, but be careful!
Frequency words are placed before an action:
"I always browse the internet."
Frequency phrases are placed after an action:
"I browse the internet every day."
Try making both types of sentences!

今日は小学校低学年クラスのレッスンの様子を紹介します！
先週のレッスンでは単数形・複数形について学び、"Are these/those ~?" "Yes, they are." "No, they aren't."の構文について練習をしていきました。
モザイクのかかったアイテムを見ながらクラスのみんなでこれはなんだろう？と考え、質問・答えることができていました。
参観日も元気な声で言えるよう頑張りましょう☺

Thank you to all the parents who have joined us for Parent Observations so far!
We really enjoyed having you in the classroom and we hope you had a lot of fun, too.
I loved seeing my P2 students telling their parents "good job!"👍 It was very cute.
Just as a reminder, this week we will be having our P4 and above observations 👆.
I hope you are all able to get a better understanding of your children's lessons.
