In this unit, students were able to learn about countries and the native language they speak.

Here are some additional list of countries and their official language:

1.Albania- (Albanian, Greek)

2. Bangladesh- (Bengali, or Bangala and English)

3. Canada- (English, French)

4. Cuba- (Spanish)

5. Finland-(Finnish and Sweden)

*Some countries use more than one official language.* (Some countries use more than one official language.)

This whole unit on P5 and P6 lessons we discussed about countries, nationalities, the language they speak and continents.
By the end of the lesson, students are able to ask about what country is someone from and they are able to identify the countries and nationalities in English.

*LETS REMEMBER:

*The word 'Nationality' is not often used in spoken English. It is a formal and official word and it appears more frequently in written English. You will find the word 'Nationality' is used a lot in the travel industry and for immigration.

We almost never say: What is your nationality?

We usually say: Where are you from? OR Where do you come from?

To tell someone your nationality you DON'T say: My nationality is Japanese.

You say: I'm Japanese.
