A lot of my students (including their parents) have told me that it's getting hotter and hotter now as days go by. Don't forget to protect yourself from the heat of the sun and I'll see you again in class- cool, safe and sound.

This week, my students and I talked about different character traits, e.g, honest, earnest, michievous, secretive and whatnot. When asked if they know people with certain characteristics, it became a funny class. They gave me hilarious answers!

What musical instruments do you play? This week we've talked about different types of musical instruments and what they play. Some have very surprising answers like one of my students can actually play mandolin. That's amazing!

It's easy to say what you need in English!
My students have so much fun saying what they need in English. They can ask each other, "What do we need?" and they can respond, "We need some salt". They are really speaking great English.

What club do you enjoy in school?
My students and I talked about the different clubs in high school and we asked each other the question, "What club are you a member of?" We had so much fun talking about the club they enjoy.

Get ready to describe your habits. This week we are going to learn how best to describe what you do on a day to day basis. Things like showering and eating breakfast. If you want to learn how to do this too come over to Amity and we`ll teach how.

Seminar week was a fun one! My students and I were able to practice EIKEN speaking. Most of them are still shy but they did what they have to do. Great job, everyone!

Do you have a pet? Do you hug them when you’re stressed? I talked about how pets can relieve someone’s stress with my students this week. Now, I miss my cat.
