今年の４月からインタラクティブレッスンを始めたNくんは、全部英語で教師のヘルプもなしに、様々なことを一人で理解できます。先日は海賊を指さして、「このpirateがね、、」と話してくれました。pirateという単語は教えていないのに、音声を聞いて彼がpirateだと分かったのかと驚きました。ぜひこれからも色々なものを聞いて、知っているものを増やしていきましょう！

It rains alot in Summer and most of my students don't like the rain. 🌧️ But I love the rain, and some of my students feel the same way! I noticed some of my kindergarten students splashing in puddles and running around in the rain. ☔ Some of my high school students told me that they like to study while listening to the sound of rain. I like the feeling of warm Summer rain on my skin. I also like listening to thunder and watching lightning. 🌩️

Recently my elementary students students learnt about what to take to the beach.

🏖️ Summer is the best time to go to the beach! But there are some things that you need to remember. Here is a checklist to remind you about what to bring... Can you answer the questions using ✅ "Yes I did." or ❌ "No, I didnt."?

先週、Ｍちゃんのお母様と学習カウンセリングを行い、今年度がんばってほしいことなどお伝えし、ご自宅で取り組んでいただくライティングドリルについてもお話ししたのですが、なんと1週間でＭちゃんは、ライティングドリルを1冊終わらせただけでなく、その他のテキストやワークもこれまでの学習分はすべてびっしり書いてきてくれました！「やるときは一気にだから」とお母さまは、コツコツやってほしいようにおっしゃっていましたが、いえいえ、その集中力に先生たちみんながビックリでした！
家でもがんばった！と言ってくれるのは、私たちはとてもうれしいです。
皆さんもドリルは毎週がんばっていると思いますので、きちんと先生たちに見せてくださいね♪　楽しみにしています！

My junior high school students have been talking about school festivals. Two of my students are part of their school's art club. One of them is helping to paint a mural for their school's festival, another is painting pictures to hang up.

中高生のみなさんには、定期テストの結果をもってきてもらい、復習をしているのですが、高校生のSくんは同じクラスのKちゃんに勉強のアドバイスをもらっていました。Kちゃんはただ読んだり書いたりするだけでなく、音読も繰り返すことで記憶にいれているようです。やはり音読は大事ですね。もし時間があれば、自分の声を録音して聞いてみることもお勧めします。

先日学習カウンセリングで小学校１年生のYちゃんのお母さんとお話をしているときに、Yちゃんはいつもアミティーの宿題を一番最初にやっていると聞いて、とても嬉しく思いました。毎週必ず提出してくれるYちゃんのドリルは、ただこなすのではなく、お手本通りに丁寧に書いてくれます。この調子で頑張ろうね♪
