New Conversation Day is celebrated every year on July 12th, worldwide. 🗣🌎
This day is set aside to encourage people to talk to each other, communicate their needs and intentions, and make new friends. 💬

Today, July 10th is "Global Energy Independence Day". 🌎
This day is to raise awareness about the importance of alternative fuels. We are currently using fossil fuels as our sources, and they need replacing. Fossil fuels are nonrenewable and require a very long time –– millions of years –– to form. They are also a source of pollution. On this day, we raise awareness against fossil fuels and focus on finding alternative sources that are renewable and relatively non-polluting sources of energy. ⚡
This is one of the many social issues that EIKEN exams are generally about. This can be found in reading, writing, listening and speaking exams. 🌎
Learn more about these topic and lets's talk about them in English. This will make answering EIKEN questions a lot easier for you. 🏫

How is the weather today? ☁☁
"Rain, rain, go away, come back another day", this a popular English chant sang mostly by kids. Most people, especially kids, don't like it when it rains. 🌧
In early summer, most parts of Japan experience rainy season. Typically, the rainy season is from early June to mid-July. 🌦
The rainy season will be the best time to see hydrangeas.
Hydrangeas which originated in Japan show vivid colors before our very eyes in the rainy season. 💐
When it rains lightly, we feel normal, but when it rains heavily, we may feel a little cold. 🌧
We should wear the right clothing, footwear, and accessories during the rainy season. We should wear rain coats or carry umbrellas on rainy days. 🌂
Be sure to also pack a rain jacket or poncho, and wellies or boots with a good grip.🧥🥾

Reading comprehension is the ability to understand what is read and connect meaning to it. If you comprehend what you read, you will gain information about many things such as the events that happened, why they happened, where, who was involved, and many other details. 📝
Comprehension makes reading interesting and fun, as well as educational and informative. 😊
Learning to make mental images as you are reading and listening are very important when doing comprehension. 🖼🖼
Practice seeing a mental image when you hear a word, then a phrase, and then a moveable mental video as you are reading a passage.📺
Practice with conversation, reasoning through situations, cause and effect, and prediction, among other thinking skills. 🗣
Practice is needed to develop this mental skill.
What we practice and repeat becomes easier and more developed with time. So starting small is ok!
