National Body Language Day usually occurs on the first Friday of October. This year, that is today, October 4th! 📅

This day intends to make people realize the power of body language as an important mode of communication.

Be it a relationship with little verbal communication or something our pets want to convey, body language is too significant to ignore.

Each of us knows how to use our body parts to send messages but not many of us realize that people in different parts of the world 'speak' different body languages. A signal for 'yes' in one culture may mean 'no' in another; a gesture for 'good-bye' in one culture can be interpreted as 'come here' in another. 👋🙅‍♂️👌👍
