Today, March 5th, is Ash Wednesday. 🗓️
Ash Wednesday, the Wednesday six weeks before Easter Sunday – March 5, 2025, – is a Christian holy day of fasting, sacrifice, and prayer. 🤲
Ash Wednesday is a holy day that marks the start of the season of Lent for the majority of the world’s Christians. Lent is a 40-day period that represents the Temptation of Christ, and Christians honour it by fasting, praying and taking part in daily devotional activity. Lots of people, including non-Christians, will choose to give up a bad habit or a vice for the period of Lent in much the same way as many people choose to set resolutions for the New Year. 📃
Alongside the more traditional observances relating to ashes, worship, fasting, prayer and charity, there are other events or traditions that take place on Ash Wednesday around the globe. 🌍

Let's read about Tongue Twisters. 👅
Today is International Tongue Twister Contest Day. It is celebrated on the last Saturday of February every year. This year, it takes place on february 26th. 🎉
A sentence or series of words that is hard to say correctly is called a tongue twister in English. Children love tongue twisters and challenge their friends to try to say them fast several times in row. 🤔⁉️
Tongue twisters can be a great way to practice your pronunciation! It’s also fun to learn the meanings of these difficult phrases. 👍
I recommend that you first practice them slowly, and try to build up the speed. For shorter ones, try and repeat them multiple times.⏫⏬
By doing a few tongue twisters a day, I’m sure you’ll notice an improvement in the way you speak English! 📈
