Today, November 29th is Day of Listening. 📅👂
The ability to listen is a skill we can practice on Day of Listening, which is the day after Thanksgiving on November 26, a day to get away from the chaos of the world, just to relax, hear, and be heard. 💬🗣👂
It’s an unofficial day to practice listening, encouraging us to make time to record our family and local community stories. Since good listeners fight off depression and gain more familiarity with other people of different backgrounds, listening is highly recommended. 🙉
🎧Here are some interesting facts about LISTENING:🎧
-We learn more by listening-
85% of what we learn is by listening, not by talking or reading.
-Listening helps us build mutual trust-
Empathetic listening helps us build stronger, long-lasting relationships.
-Listening reduces anxiety-
Listening helps to relieve anxiety and generally improves the quality of life.
-We listen to 450 words per minute-
We can listen to between 250 to 450 words per minute.
-Women listen more than men-
Research shows that men use only half their brains to listen while while women used both halves of their brains.

Let's read about Christmas traditions and how Christmas is celebrated around the world. 🎅🎄❄
Christmas is celebrated in over 90 countries around the world. 🗺🌎
At Christmas, Christians all over the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Traditional Christmas decoration often can be admired and festive celebrations can be joined in most countries, even in many of the countries where Christianity is not the religion of the majority of people. Christmas trees are a popular decoration as are tiny sparkling lights in windows and on walls. 🧦💡🎄🎅
Christmas is generally celebrated on the 25th of December. Some countries however have slightly different Christmas traditions and as such festive season celebrations take place over a longer period of time, from the beginning of December to the beginning of January. 📅
In many regions in France, Christmas celebrations start with St Nicholas day on the 6th of December. Then children get sweets and little gifts. 🎁🍬

An Advent calendar simply counts down to the days before Christmas.
Advent calendars remind us of how exciting it was as a kid to unlock a new door every day. We love the holiday because of the feeling of nostalgia that engaging in the activity creates.
Counting down the days till Christmas is a highly anticipatory activity. Surprisingly, as we count down, Advent calendars also help us feel in control of our enthusiasm. It's a type of planned entertainment.
Each stage is completed by opening each small door as you progress. It's like crossing a small check mark off a list. When we make progress, our brains reward us by releasing feel-good chemicals.

It is observed in many countries including the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia and the U.A.E. 🌍
World Kindness Day presents us with the opportunity to reflect upon one of the most important and unifying human principles. On a day devoted to the positive potential of both large and small acts of kindness, try to promote and diffuse this crucial quality that brings people of every kind together. 💐
The objective of World Kindness Day is to spread kindness with small gestures.
The main tradition of the day is to be kind and to try and encourage kindness to prevail over hatred. Whether it’s helping out someone with chores, taking the time out to ask how someone is doing, or complimenting someone.📥📤
