Generally, the 4 base skills of learning a language are reading, writing, speaking and listening.
For many people, having to study language in school becomes a chore, so they feel resistance to studying, but there are plenty of ways to make learning more exciting and personal to you!
For example, you can read English news about a subject which interests you. You can watch a TV show with subtitles to practice listening and reading at the same time.
As for speaking, it is often considered the most difficult skill to build because it's hard to practice by yourself. If you have that worry, please come to Amity and develop your communication skills by talking with our teachers!

Who, What, When, Where, Why
Do you know the 5 W's? These words are each applicable to a different function.
For example, 'when' refers to time. So you could use it in these ways:
When is your birthday?
When I go to the store, I usually buy milk.
I want to see Mickey Mouse when I go to Disneyland.
It can be easy to mix these words up, so come to Amity and practice using them in conversation!

What comes to mind when you think of October?
For many kids, the first answer might be Halloween. When I was a kid, we had a Halloween fashion show at my school. We walked around the neighborhood in our costumes, then got up on a little stage to show off our costume and a pose, and then we got some candy. Those times were fun memories for me.
