What temperature do you set your Air-Conditoner to?
This is a contentious topic for many people. Even within our Amity staff, it's likely to cause an argument!
It's so hot these days, so we always use the AC. At home I usually set my AC to 26 degrees. However, some people like Lily sensei prefers to set it much lower. Can you believe it, she sets her AC to 22 degrees!!
How about you, what temperature do you set your AC to at home?
Some people say it is a bad idea to sleep with the AirConditioner on because the room can become too dry. How do you balance the hot weather alongside dry air. I heard some people also get stomachache from sleeping using AC. Is that true?

Playing outside and swimming the pool or in the sea is super fun during summer time. But nowadays the Sun is hotter than ever, we need to make sure we stay safe!
These are some ways we can stay safe in summer.
1. We need to drink lots of water. Since we can sweat a lot more in summer, it's important that we drink more water than usual. If we don't drink water we could get a headache and become dehydrated!
2. Wear sunscreen. When our skin is in the sun it can become damaged. This can make it red and painful, and can even lead to serious illness. It's important that we wear sunscreen whenever we are outside in the sun, and reapply if we stay outside for a long time.
3. Use sun protective clothing. As well as sunscreen, we can also wear sun hats, caps, sun glasses, longsleeved shirts and use a parasol to protect ourselves from the sun.

In some western countries it is popular to make your own popsicles or ice cream in the summer!
To make popsciles at home is pretty simple you just need a few ingredients. A cup of berries, yogurt (whatever flavor you like), and some honey (the more you add the sweeter it will be). After that you blend it all together and freeze it in a cup with a popsicle stick in it!
