When I am at home I will try to talk aloud to myself in another language. I do this by narrating what I do as I do it. For example, I may say "I am walking to the fridge to get a drink. Then, I will sit down and read my book, while I sip my drink." Of course, I am usually attempting to speak in French or Japanese, but you can do this exercise with English! My grammar in the other languages may not be the best, however that is not important for the exercise. What is important is that I am reinforcing the language that I already know. While you are at home try narrating your day (in English!), say what you are doing while you do it. This is a great exercise to help improve your speaking outside of class.
This week our students are learning to express their preference for activities. They are learning to say, "I like to swim" and "I don't like to run." It is hard to put together a full sentence but they are having fun learning the activities and acting them out in class.

中学生以上の皆様にはぜひご受験いただけるよう、ご案内をしております。
英検は高校・大学受験までに評価されやすいのに対して、TOEICは大学進学以降に役に立ちます。
留学のために決まったスコアを獲得しなければいけない学校もございます。
将来を見据えて、今のうちから練習を重ねることで、就職活動で差をつけることができます。

February 14th is Valentine's Day and we are having a special event for students. It starts at 14:30 and is free for eveyone to join. We will practice the ABC's and find missing letters in the shapes of pink and red hearts hiding around the room. We hope to see you there.
