Hello everyone.
Let's read about vision boards and why you should join us for this seminar.
What are vision boards?
A
vision board (or dream board) is a collection of images and words that inspire and motivate you to reach your goals.
Vision boards are effective because they are a visual reminder of your intentions.
Vision boards help you clarify your goals.
A vision board is filled with images, words, and symbols that inspire and motivate you. When you look at your board, it should trigger positive emotions, excitement, and enthusiasm, which can fuel your determination and drive. It serves as a visual representation of your dreams and reminds you of the possibilities ahead.
Let's talk about your short and long term goals while practicing speaking in English.
This lesson is available for high school students and adults.
Contact us for more information and to schedule a date for your vision board seminar.

Hello everyone!!
This month's P5 lessons have been about different illnesses, like the flu, a cold, a sore throat, etc. We have been learning how to ask others how they feel and we have also been studying how to respond.
Let's read a short story about being sick.
**********************************************************************************************************
I’m too ill
One night Toshi was feeling sick.
‘What's wrong?’ his dad asked.
‘Ouch, it hurts! I think I have a cold,’ Toshi said.
‘Oh dear, you should eat some oranges,’ his dad said.
Toshi said,‘I’m too ill to eat them.’
The next morning Toshi had a headache.
‘Ouch, ouch! It hurts!’ he said.
‘You should take some medicine?’ his father said.
‘No, I’m fine.’ Toshi said.
By midday Toshi had a stomachache.
‘Ouch, ouch, ouch! It hurts!’ he said.
‘Oh dear, you should eat some soup,’ his dad said.
That evening he also had a sore throat.
‘Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch! It hurts!’ Toshi said.
‘Oh dear,I’m calling the doctor.’ said his dad.
The doctor arrived.
The doctor took Toshi's temperature. ‘Your temperature is high! You have a fever. You might have the flu. Take some medicine.’ the doctor said.
The next morning Toshi felt a lot better.
His dad asked him, 'Do you have a fever?'
Toshi answered, 'No i don't, I feel fine!'.

Hello everyone!
Let's read about, 'Leap Years'.
What is a leap year?
A leap year has 366 days. A non-leap year has 365 days. The extra day is added to the shortest month, February, to give it 29 days (one day more than its usual 28 days). The 29th day is called Leap Day.
February 29th only appears on the calendar every 4 years. This is called a Leap Year, and the day itself is known as a Leap Day.
A popular English Nursey Rhyme to remember this is the Leap Year Poem by Mother Goose.
Leap Year Poem
Thirty days hath September,
April, June and November.
All the rest have thirty-one,
Excepting February alone,
And that has twenty-eight days clear
And twenty-nine in each leap year.
Hello everyone!
Today is the Emperor's Birthday.
The Emperor’s Birthday is celebrated in Japan on February 23, and only changes when a new emperor is crowned.
Japan has the oldest monarchy in the world. There have been 126 emperors since the inception of Japan, all traceable to the first emperor and the founder of what is today Japan.
5 FUN FACTS ABOUT JAPANESE EMPERORS
・ The Japanese Emperor today is still Head of State, but performs mostly ceremonial and symbolic functions.
・ The Japanese imperial family is more than 1,500 years old, and they are said to be descendants of the first emperor, Jimmu.
・ Japanese myths speak of the first emperor as the son of Amaterasu the sun goddess, his descendants and subsequent emperors were always called ‘Tenno,’ meaning heavenly sovereign.
・ Chrysanthemum flowers were particularly beloved by the imperial family, they were adopted to symbolize the throne and the position of the Emperor in Japanese history.
・ Emperor Hirohito, who reigned from 1926 to 1989, was a dedicated marine biologist.
