Let's read about "Blah Blah Blah Day"

"Blah blah blah” is defined as meaningless chatter. “Blah blah blah” is also used when you’re uninterested in what someone is saying or feel the other person is nagging you.

Blah Blah Blah Day is celebrated every April 17 to encourage you to listen to those nagging words from your loved ones or friends, and to action them.

Conversations are interactive communication between two or more people. Humans have been having conversations since the dawn of time, and it has been a critical aspect of how we shaped the world around us. Through conversations, we shared ideas, learned, and worked toward the development of human civilization.

Here are some intereesting facts about speaking.

People spend 60% of their conversations talking about themselves.

The fastest rate of public speaking
John F. Kennedy made the fastest rate of public speaking in history, at 327 words per minute.

The opposite of talking is not listening; it’s waiting.

The fear of public speaking
About 25% of people have glossophobia, which is the fear of public speaking.

6月の英検受験の締め切りが4月17日となっております。
アミティー高梁校での受験は、5級、4級で10名以上となりますが、
現時点で集まっておりませんので、受験希望の方は個々にお申込みを頂きます。
ご希望の方がいらっしゃいましたら、アミティー高梁校受付までお問い合わせください。

中学生以上は学校でも受験できますが、6月に実施予定があるかを必ず学校の先生に確認をお願いいたします。

Global Work From Home Day is a day that is observed and celebrated worldwide on April 10 every year.

Remote work is not a new concept and existed long before the digital age, but the industrial revolution saw an increased number of people working collectively in offices, warehouses, and other places. Getting up early in the morning and commuting to work to spend at least nine hours became the norm, so when more and more people started choosing jobs that gave them the ability to work from home, and the digitization of jobs became widespread, it all created a frenzy around remote working.

Additionally, after the most recent global pandemic, COVID-19, we all had to adjust to the new conditions of the world and many people had to start working remotely.

Global Work From Home Day gives both the employer and the employee most especially full-time offices the opportunity to experience the advantageous side of working from home. The general idea behind it is to highlight the freedom, discipline, and responsibility required to make working from home work.

Crafting is an activity or hobby of making decorative objects with your hands, you can make just about anything.

Here at Amity we offer private and semi-private craft lessons that allows our students to study English, explore other cultures and express themselves creatively through their designs.

Crafting has many benefits like developing fine motor skills and supporting self-esteem.
