Today, I want to introduce slangs.!
What is a slang?
Slangs are informal words which were invented or made
famous online or by a particular individual or group.
For example: Slay
Meaning: This word is used to describe someone whose
doing something exceptionally well.
Sentence: She practiced really well for the dance recital
and she slayed the performance.
You`re such a good dancer, you slay!
Slang of the day: "Ick"
Meaning: This slang means something that turns off or
disgust someone instantly.
Examples:
1. It gave me the ick when I saw him spit on the ground.
2. My biggest ick is when I hear someone chewing loudly.
3. When I saw him ran into the mad I shouted, "Ick!"

As what you have read in the title, we are going t talk about riddles today.
But first let`s learn what a "Riddle" is.
A riddle is a question or statement with a hidden meaning.
For example: What has a face and two hands but no arms or legs?

Title: Baby Class
Story:
I have 4 baby students in class, all of them are fairly new. At fist they were very shy
but they were able to adapt quickly after having 2 classes together. They are now able to
understand simple instructions like " Put away" , "Take out your book", "Knock, Knock" and
"Close your book".
In Amity we incorporate songs and chants all throughout the lesson, this strategy doesn`t just
help in elevating the babies interest but will also help in improving their retention skills.
In addition to that, they also learn a lot of vocabulary like eat, drink, cook, sing, dance and etc.
Every class, we enjoy doing a lot of activities that would help the babies comprehend the vocabulary
they learned through play.
The babies really enjoy learning English and as there teacher I feel so proud to see them improve
each day. One instance that made me really happy is when one baby student of mine started singing
along the chants and songs without any assistance from his parent or me and the one thing that I`m
the most proud of is that he is able to pronounce all the words accurately. This indicates that
learning English at an early age is more effective not just for the babies language development
but also to their emotional and physical growth.
