Last week our younger students had a fun time singing the ABC song. They like to make the shape of the letters with their bodies as they sing, and they do a great job saying all of the letters in rhythm. Students always look forward to singing the ABC song!

高学年クラスでは先週、「Have you ever been to 〇〇〇？」と今まで行ったことがあるか、また何回行ったことあるかとみんなで英語で話しました！USJやディズニーランドもですが、さすが広島！マツダスタジアムや宮島は“Many times!”と笑顔で答えてくれました♪ 私がまだカープの試合を見たことがなく、“Never”と伝えると、すかさず“WHY？”と英語で答えてくれたKくん！いつか”Once”といえるように願ってます！ （H）
The students in our P3 course is now learning about asking the question "Where is~?". In class, we are trying to look for different items in and out of the house (for example: bed, bathtub, stove, tree house, and sofa). The students did a fantastic job at asking "Where is the bed?" and aswering "It's in the bedroom!". We also played some games trying to find the items in different rooms in the house.

Last week in our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade classes, we practiced the phonics `ai` and `ay.` The students did a great job at thinking of words that have `ay`, like `play`, `say`, `day`, `manta ray`, and many more. They were so happy that the words they guessed had the phonics we were learning. Do you know any words that have `ay`?

今日で1月も終わり、明日からは2月になりますね！
先週は雪が降ったりと寒い日が多く、生徒たちも"It's snowy!"と英語で伝えてくれました♪
小学生の会話クラスではカレンダーに雪だるまがあり、土曜日クラスでは、“It's a snowman!”と喜んでいましたが、ふと「でもこのsnowman、happyじゃない、angryかso-soの顔をしてる！」「manだしHe is angryだね」と雪だるまの性別や表情が気になり盛り上がりました！まだまだ寒い日も続きますので、体調に気を付けて元気にレッスンに来ていただけるようお待ちしております♪ （H）
The Finger Family song with babies!
This Unit's song for our Baby D class is the Finger Family song! The students and their parents use finger puppets with Daddy, Mommy, Brother, Sister, and Baby's faces on them. It is very fun to learn the members of the family through this song. Let's all try to sing it at home, too.
