The new school year at Amity will start in April. Students are getting excited about their new courses and receiving their new books. The students always take their new books with smiles on their faces. If you are interested in trying a new course for the school year (and maybe getting new textbooks!), please contact the school and ask for more information.

幼児クラス、小学生クラスでは最後の5、10分にワークブックをする時間があります。金曜日の年中・年長クラスではそのワークブックの時間がとても静かに文字を書いてくれています！そこで、年中さんのKちゃんが、「Be quiet...書く時みんなquietだね！」と小声で伝えてくれました！急に「quiet」という単語を言われたのでびっくりし、また年少さんの時に「しー！quiet」と一緒に学んだ単語、レッスンを覚えてくれていたことにも嬉しく思いました♪ お家でいきなり言った単語などありませんか？また教えてくださいね♪ （H）
What do you want for lunch?~
In our P3 course classes, the kids are learning about lunch. We learned about different food we commonly eat for lunch like udon, hot dog, sandwich, vegetable soup, and curry and rice. We learned the expression "I want udon for lunch." The kids did a fantastic job!

Recently, many of our older Baby students have started to talk. It is very adorable to hear them repeat words in English, and I can tell that the parents are happy as well. Children at that age are at a critical period for language acquisition, so exposure to English will help them greatly if they decide to continue studying English.

中学生の皆さんは2月に学校のテストがあった学校が多くいました！まずはお疲れ様ですね。
テストが返ってきているところもあり、点数を聞くと「英語が一番良かった！」「英語はとくに勉強しなくても大丈夫」と頼もしい声もよく聞きます♪一緒にテスト前に確認した「自分で作文を書くライティングの部分は満点だった！」と伝えてくれたKくん！中高生の皆さんもテスト前や英語で分からないことがあれば、いつでも先生たちに聞いてくださいね♪ （H）
What do you want to eat for breakfast?
In our P3 course, the students learned about breakfast. We learned about different breakfast food like: toast, cereal, pancakes, yogurt, and eggs.
We practiced saying the sentence "Let's eat toast for breakfast!", and replying "Ok, that sounds good!".
I learned that many students prefer eating toast for breakfast. Also, not a lot of them eat cereal at home. Cereal is a popular breakfast for kids in America.
