アミティーの小６文法クラスでは、中１文法の先取学習をしています。毎回のレッスンでは単語テストをしたり、会話クラスでは行っていない和訳や英訳問題、指示に従っての文章の書き換え問題なども頑張っています。しっかりと文法の基礎を身に着け、中学校での英語学習に向けて準備していきます。興味のある方は、スタッフにお声がけくださいね。　　　(Y)

Summer seminar season is starting soon at Amity! If you would like to practice for Eiken/Eiken Jr, learn to read, do some fun crafts, or improve your speaking skills, we highly recommend taking seminars this summer. Private lessons with your favorite teachers will be so fun. We hope to see everyone this summer!

In the coming weeks, we will be holding Parents' Observation Lessons. This is a great chance for parents and guardians to experience what their students do every week at Amity. Parents will be able to not just watch, but actually participate in the lesson and interact with their student(s) in class. The students love having their family join the lesson, so please consider participating! It's a lot of fun! I am looking forward to seeing you there!

On Sunday, we held the EIKEN test at Amity. Many of our students came after many weeks of studying. We hope they did well! The students always get anxious waiting for their EIKEN results, but they are always relieved when they find out that they passed or at least got a better score than last time. Let`s study for EIKEN together!

In our P4 course lesson, the 1st-3rd graders learned about using 'on', 'under' and 'behind'. We used different items like diary, stuffed animal, and keys and we hid them 'on', 'under' or 'behind' different furnitures like bed, shoe closet, and washing machine. It is important to learn using these words so please make sure to practice them at home!

Here's an example question and answer:

Where is my diary? "It in the bedroom, on the bed."
Where are my keys? "They are in the entryway, on the shoe closet."

This is a reminder that next week is a Seminar Week. There will be no regular weekly lessons. Instead, we will have private lessons for students. Many students want to prepare for the EIKEN exam, so many students take lessons during Seminar Week for that. We also have many students practice phonics and reading. No matter what you want to study, we can help you in a private lesson! If you are interested in taking seminars, please contact the school.
