This week was e-mail week at Amity! 📧
今週のアミティーは、E-mail Week!
E-mail week is a chance for our students who take Interactive classes to write an e-mail to the teacher of their choice. 📝
E-mail Weekとは、パソコンクラスを受講しているみなさんがアミティーの先生にお手紙を書ける週のことです！
Of course, the e-mail is entirely in English! 🔤
もちろん、文章は全部、英語ですよ！！
It’s a fun way to practice your writing and typing skils, not to mention you might learn something new about your teachers! 👩🏻🏫👩🏻🏫👩🏻🏫👨🏻🏫
アミティーの先生について知れる機会でもありますし、英語のタイピングやライティングスキルアップのチャンスでもあります！

Happy New Year everyone! 🎊
あけましておめでとうございます！
Today, let’s learn about New Year’s resolutions.
今日は、新年の抱負についてお話ししましょう。
A New Year’s resolution is a promise to yourself to do or achieve something in the coming year.
新年の抱負は、その年に何かをする、または達成するという自分への約束です。
For example, my New Year’s resolution is to travel to lots of places and try new foods! ✈️ (๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑)
例えば、私の新年の抱負は、たくさんの場所に旅して、新しい食べ物に挑戦すること！
Let’s make a resolution to study English together in 2025! 📚
みなさんは、2025年の抱負に、英語のお勉強についてを入れてくれたら嬉しいな！
If you want an extra challenge, you can even make passing Eiken or TOEIC your New Year’s resolution! 📝
さらなる挑戦をしたい人、英検合格やTOEICスコアアップを新年の抱負にすることもできますよ！

今年は巳（へび）年！ The year of snake!
今年は巳年！ということで、アミティーの先生＆生徒でへびを描いてみました🐍
色んな画伯の作品をご覧ください。
こちらは高校生の生徒さんが描いてくれました。 とっても上手ですね！
人面へび・・！？ 某ゴリラ先生画
「この世で唯一怖い生き物なの！」 と、画伯からコメントいただいております。 ウナギではなく、へびです。
シラスウナギのようですが、へびです。 「絵心だけ無いんだよね」と、画伯からコメントいただいております。
可愛らしいヘビさんです！ シラスウナギ画伯は「こんな絵が描きたい！」と仰ってました
「ヘビとはいったい何なのか」という深いようでよくわからない疑問が頭に浮かんできます。 人目を引きつけてやまないこの絵はアートの結晶ですね。
可愛らしいアヒル口とおめめが特徴の直立型へびです。 高校生に描いてもらいました。
気合のはいった牙がかっこいい！ 中学生に描いてもらいました。

Christmas traditions around the world! 🎅🏻 🗺️⁀જ✈︎ 世界にはさまざまなクリスマスがあります！
Most countries that celebrate Christmas have just finished their festive celebrations but did you know there are countries that celebrate it on a completely different day? 😱
ほとんどの国ではすでにクリスマスが終わっていますが、実は全く別の日にクリスマスがある国が存在するのを知っていますか？
Ethiopia and Serbia are some of the countries that follow a different calendar and celebrate their Christmas on January 7th and not on the 25th of December. ⛄📅
エチオピアやセルビアでは、私たちとは違う暦に従い、12/25ではなく、1/7にクリスマスがあります。
Every country has its own way of celebrating Christmas while other countries do not celebrate it at all. 🎄
クリスマスのお祝いの仕方は各国違いますが、国によっては全くお祝いしない国もあります。
In some parts of Southern Africa, they do not decorate their homes but the biggest part of Christmas is exchanging gifts and having all family members in one house while they make a feast. 👨👩👧👦🏠🍽️
南アフリカの一部の地域では、お家を飾ることはあまりありませんが、プレゼント交換をしたり、家族で宴会を開いたりします。
They include cutting down fir trees, decorating them with ornaments and putting presents under the tree. 🎁
モミの木を切り倒したり、装飾品で飾ったり、プレゼントを木の下に置いたりします。
