🌻みなさん、一週間おやすみでしたが、どのように過ごされていましたか？

英語のドリルがんばって進めていた生徒さんも、
英検に向けてコツコツ学習をしていた生徒さんも今日からまたアミティースタートです！

おうちで英語の質問が出てきた生徒さんは先生にたくさん聞いてくださいね♪

たくさん進めているドリルはぜひクラスの担当の先生に見せてくださいね。
たくさん💮をつけさせていただけることを楽しみにしています。

本日8/20（火）からはサプリメンタリーレッスンです。

年中さん以上は通常のテキストに加え、コピーチャットをお持ちくださいね。

アミティーでは６ヶ月のベビーちゃんから、
保護者クラスまで毎日さまざまなレッスンを開講しております♪

アミティーでは通常レッスンとは別に英検などの資格試験を目指す生徒さん、
1学期の復習や2学期の予習をする生徒さん、フォニックスなど読み書きの基礎をつける生徒さんなどが
この時期は特別レッスン（夏期セミナー）を受講します。

そのため朝から教室はフル稼働中！！

その中で休憩中の生徒さん3名に声をかけて、夏期セミナーを受講する目的を聞いてみました！

①Rちゃん（中2）
主な受講目的は学校の定期テストのスコアアップですが、
今日のレッスンは特別に外国人教師との英会話を受けました。
久しぶりで緊張したけど楽しめました！

➁Rくん（小2）
英検5級を10月に受験するために夏休みにレッスンを増やしてます。
普段は外国人の先生ですが、夏は日本人の先生なので分かりやすい。

➂Mちゃん（年長）
入ったばかりですがロビーに飾ってあった動物たちのジオラマを見て、
「私も作ってみたい！」と言ってくれました。
普段はグループレッスンですが夏休みはマンツーマンレッスンなので、
先生を独り占めできるのが楽しい！とのこと。

夏に力をつけて秋には大きなジャンプを見せてください！！

8/20（火）から全レッスン再開！

後期日程残席わずかですが、まだ間に合います✨

August in the Philippines is mostly rainy ☔ and wet. Most beaches might be overcast rather than sunny, most days of this month. This is also the time when a lot of typhoons come to the country. It may sound a bit sad to visit Philippines during these times because of the weather, but there are still a lot of activities that you can do not only in the city but in the provinces too. You can attend various festivals held at different areas. These festivals vary depending on what the province is famous for, like the local food that is famous there, or famous flowers. You can watch shows, and go to your neighbors to have some food and do karaoke to celebrate.

We also have Buwan ng Wika 😄 (Month of the Language), this it to celebrate the Filipino language.
Schools are the busiest for this celebration as the teachers, students, and parents prepare for a week-long celebration with shows 👐 , programs, competitions 🎨, and performances about being a Filipino. Students wear the Philippines' national costumes like Filipiniana (for girls) and Barong Tagalog (for boys). It's a busy week but one of the most fun events we celebrate in the Philippines ❤️.

お気に入りのアミティーバッグを背負って通学してくれたKくん☺



生後６か月の頃、アミティーで英語デビューをして、
もうすぐ２歳半になる最近では、、
"Thank you!" "You're welcome." "One more time!"といったフレーズや、
フルーツなどを英語でたくさん発話できるようになりました👏

ベビー時期はインプットする期間、
現在はたくさんアウトプットできるようになっています！

小さいうちからたくさん英語を聞かせてあげましょう💛

July marks the beginning of Summer in Canada. This is the time when students are off from school until September, so many people like to take advantage of the beautiful weather and free time (for students, at least!) Popular activities to do during the Summer include going to the beach, going to fairs, and grilling BBQ 🏖️🎡🍖

🕸️A popular sport in the Summer is spikeball. Similar to volleyball, spikeball is played with a ball and net, with the main difference being that the net is horizontal and close to the ground. There is no court in the game, so there is a lot of running and moving around in this sport! The equipment is conveniently portable, so many people enjoy playing at the beach. However, you can easily play in your backyard as well!

🎠 My hometown of Toronto, Canada, hosts many exciting activities during the Summertime. Besides attractions such as the CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium of Canada inviting many visitors each year, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) invites people of all ages to join in on the Summer festivities. Did you know, last year the CNE had around 1.6 million visitors? Wow! This annual 2-week-long fair leaves visitors with lots to do. Some activities include a petting zoo, international air show, dog competition, rides, shopping, and much more. Personally, my favorite thing to do at the CNE is try all the weird but interesting food that is offered each year!

🏕️ Many times, you know Summer is here when you can smell the BBQ outside! Many people like to grill BBQ outdoors to enjoy the beautiful weather (since the months of cold snow are coming up). Oftentimes, friends and family get together in eachothers' backyards as they are able to enjoy good food, good company, and good weather. Another activity enjoyed is camping. People will put up tents and set up campfires so they can spend even more time in nature. As you can see, Canadians love spending most of their time outdoors during the Summer!

Summertime in Canada is busy with lots of fun activities to try! I hope you are enjoying your Summer so far, and are staying safe in this heat! 🌞

Summer in the UK is our warmest season of the year.
We have a lot of long sunny days, with lots of blue skies and sometimes hot temperatures.
There might be some thunderstorms, and even some heatwaves, but they are usually rare.

It's great to visit different carnivals in the UK, with one of the most famous being Notting Hill Carnival.
We visit this one so that we can celebrate Caribbean culture and enjoy a very large street party.
People also enjoy hiking in the Cotswolds, where we can see a lot of lavender flowers and the area can sometimes turn a beautiful purple color.

We get to enjoy barbeques, beach parties, amusement park visits, river rafting, rowing, sailing, soccer in the park, and also outdoor cinemas.
It's great to sit outdoors, have a picnic and watch a movie on some of the warmest days.
