Hello everyone, this week has been great p2 students learned how to respond to a question, they did so well! As we approach the colder season, I hope everyone is staying warm and learning some English words.

As we bid our students an enjoyable Winter Holiday and look ahead to our goals and dreams for 2025, we hope that students feel proud of all they have been able to accomplish so far this year. Today we reminded students that there are no regular classes next week. Regular lessons will recommence on January 7th, 2025. Until then, stop on by for a seminar! Thank you! ~Leah Sensei

CLILという言葉はあまり聞きなじみがありませんが、クリルと読みます。
ｱﾐﾃｨｰではこのCLILを採用しています。ヨーロッパの学校では第２言語を習得する際につかれます。
CLILとは「Content（コンテンツ）、Communication（コミュニケーション）、 Cognition（思考力）、
Culture またはCommunity （文化・コミュニティ）」の4つの特長を持つ、英語学習の主流となった教育方法です。

It's my second week at Yonago Amity. I am meeting a lot of students and I am enjoying having lessons with them. Please come through to learn English with us.

This week, students who took the Eiken Jr. exam in October and November will begin receiving their test results. We are so proud of our students and overall impressed with their results! Did you know that students who study for the Eiken with Amity seminars achieve higher scores on average than those who do not? Consider signing up to improve your child's abilities! ~ Leah Sensei

We have decorated the Yonago Amity lobby in preparation for Christmas and New Year, and are inviting students to add ornaments to our lobby Christmas tree. For students who want to enjoy a special holiday lesson, private seminars are available for the week of Christmas! Why not enjoy storytime with Santa?

I just wanted to say thank you to all my amazing students for having me as their teacher this year, we've had a lot laughs, challanges and seen a lot of growth. It has been my priviledge to watch you grow and develop on your individual journeys. I will certainely miss you, your parents and ofcourse the Yonago staff!

Next week you will all get a chance to meet Lulu sensei, I know you will all have a blast getting to know and have fun with each other!

In America, every year November ends only after we celebrate Thanksgiving. There are many traditions associated with the Thanksgiving holiday, such as eating a large feast with a turkey in the middle and hosting family reunions. It is also important to celebrate all the things we are grateful for in life. So on behalf of Amity Yonago, we are grateful for our amazing students, our supportive parents, our good health, and our welcoming work environment.
