Does Great Britain Use Dollars?
Hello everyone!
This week, our P5 students are practicing currency.
We learned currencies like dollars, pesos, and pounds.
We practiced matching currencies to countries, which the students did very well with.
I asked the students about Japan, "Does Japan use dollars?"
The students responded "No, it uses yen."
This showed me that they understood the question and used their own knowledge to create a good response.

This week we are teaching supplementary lessons.
In one of the lessons today we practiced how to ask for directions.
"Excuse me, is there a convenience store around here?"
"Excuse me, is there a school around here?"
"Excuse me, is there a toy store around here?"
The students all did very well, one student did exceptionally well she recognized all the locations with ease.

We also compared the professions.
"Who is faster, the soccer player or the boxer?"
"Is the gymnast stronger than the cyclist?"
"The weightlifter is stronger".
The students did very well, we also had a lot of fun with the activities.
