もうすぐ大晦日になりますね！小学生クラスのレッスンでいつも日付を確認しているのですが、その時に大晦日”New Year’s Eve”の予定と何を食べるかをみんなで話しました！私はいつも“I watch 紅白歌合戦！”そして“I eat すきやき!”です♪ みんな年越しそばだったり、SASUKEを見ると英語で答えてくれたYくんもいました！みなさんは大晦日何をして、何を食べますか？また1月のレッスンの時に一緒に話しましょうね♪ （H）
Christmas Themed Seminars! 🎄
Last week, the students at Amity who signed up for Winter Seminars did some Christmas themed lessons!
Ghey Sensei helped the students write their letters and wishes to Santa Claus. 🎅 Zach Sensei helped some students build their snowmen. They also did a fun Christmas BINGO activity!
The students and the teachers had so much fun doing the Christmas themed seminars.
We hope to have more students join us next year!

Christmas is fast approaching! Many students have been coming to class singing Christmas carols and many of the lessons this time of year have Christmas-themed activities, so many of the students are in the Christmas spirit! Are you doing anything special for Christmas? Let me know next time you come to Amity!

Our 3 year old students are learning about body parts in class! This week, we were learning eyes, ears, shoulders, knees, and toes!
I am very impressed by my 3 year old students. They can repeat the words in English while touching their body parts.
The Mommies in class were asking their kids "What are these?2", and the students reply with "EYES!", "EARS!".

We have received the Eiken Jr. scores for our students, so we will be start handing them out this week. Many of our students have already received their certificates. The students are very happy with their scores! They also received a lot of praise from their parents.

Which do you like better?
今週の小学校低学年クラスでは“Which do you like better？”とどちらが好きか聞く構文になっているのですが、みんなとても楽しんで答えてくれています！例えば、「カレー」と「ピザ」だったりするとみんな「え！究極の選択・・・」と真剣に悩みながら答えてくれました。火曜日のクラスのKくんは、人参もあるし・・・"I like pizza better！"だったり、Mくんは「給食のカレーが好き！」と"I like curry and rice better!"と楽しく答えてくれました♪今週はおいしそうな絵も多いレッスンなので、ぜひ楽しみにしてくださいね！ （H）

Where do you want to go? 🍣🥪🥩
This week, for our P6 Course, the topic is going to restaurants.
We are practicing asking the question "Where do you want to go for breakfast/lunch/dinner/dessert?"
Many students answered "Let's go to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant!". I think sushi is really popular among Japanese students.
If you were to ask me, I would say "Let's go to a barbeque restaurant!". I like meat very much!
How about you, where do you want to go to eat?
