１年生から３年生までの生徒さんのいるクラスでは、経験のある３年生の生徒さんたちが、低学年の生徒さんのサポートをしてくれています。
例えばワークブックでは、答えを教えるだけではなく、どうしてそうなるのか、説明もしてくれています。これまで続けて学習してきたことで、内容を理解し定着していることをとてもうれしく頼もしく思います。
学年は違ってもみんな仲良し、とても楽しいクラスです♪ (Y)

We hope everyone is having a good Golden Week vacation. Even though Amity is closed, you can still make time to practice English at home! Try writing a journal about what you did every day of Golden Week. Then, you can share the journal with us the next time you come to Amity! We would love to read what you all did during the break. ４月は、1年ぶりにお会いした生徒の皆さんのご成長ぶりに驚く毎日でした。
身長が伸びたり、お兄さん、お姉さんぽくなってるばかりではなく、英語力がレベルアップしているのをとてもうれしく思います。

What sport is popular in your school?
In our JA Course this month, we had a topic about sports. We talked about the different sports that are popular in Japan, other countries, and their schools. In their schools, my students said that many of their schoolmates play basketball, table tennis and soccer. Surprisingly, basketball is very popular among the girls.
In the Philippines, boxing and basketball are very popular.

Next week during Golden Week, the Flower Festival will be held in Hiroshima. Are you planning on going? I really like flowers, so I think I may go! It is a really big event, so many students will be there. Maybe I will see some of you there! You may also have the chance to speak English with foreigners there.

What are some things that you would like to do this spring? I would like to go camping out in the mountains. What about you? Many of our students said they wanted to go camping, but they do not like bugs, so they are scared to go. Tell me what you think about camping next time you come to Amity!

In our P2 course, the students are currently learning about plural form. It is easy for students to understand singular form like "What's this?", "It's an apple".
However, they always have difficulty using plural form like "What are they?", "They are apples". We recommend practicing this a lot at home so the kids can remember them. You can always use items at home like spoons, chopsticks, socks, and many more!
