Our students had so much fun learning about animals. They practiced asking questions and giving correct responses while doing our classroom activities. They also gave more examples of animals that they usually see at the zoo such as kangaroos, elephants, and bears.

What are you good at? Are you good at tap dancing, magic tricks or arts and crafts? These were some of the vocabulary words that our elementary students learned this week. They also shared with their classmates other activities and sports that they are good at such as gymnastics, soccer and English. They also talked about their weaknesses or those things that they are bad at. Everyone got to know their classmates better and learned new useful phrases!

Our students learned about organizing an event or throwing a party. They learned important phrases that are used in planning a party such as baking desserts, choosing the playlist and picking up the decorations. They also shared with their classmates some ideas on how to make celebrations really truly special.

Describing Clothing Patterns
Welcome back and Happy New Year, everyone!
Our elementary students have been learning about different patterns or designs of clothing such as plaid shorts, solid tennis shoes, checkered overalls, and a lot more. They also get the chance to choose which patterns they like while playing some games. Everyone seems to have so much fun learning useful phrases with their classmates!

リニューアルした英検を詳しく見てみましょう！〈英検準2級編〉
新しくなった英検の問題の、どこが変わったのか詳しくご紹介します！
英検準2級では、問題の追加・削減がありました。
＜削減したところ＞
〇大問1(短文の語句補充)のうち、熟語・文法問題から5問削減
〇大問3(長文の語句補充)のうち3問削減(長文問題1題分カット)
＜追加したところ＞
3級と同様に、Eメール問題が追加されました。送られてきたメール文の中に1フレーズ下線が引いてあるので、それについての質問を2つ考えて書くことと、メール内で問われた質問に答えていく内容です。
ただ答えるだけでなく、質問まで考えてしていくことで、よりコミュニケーション能力、自己表現力を問われています。日頃からニュースなどに対して、英語で質問を考えるようにしてみましょう！
New Year`s Resolution is a promise that you make to yourself to do something new or to stop doing a bad habit and be a better individual as the new year starts. Eating healthier foods, trying a new hobby, being more organized and learning a new skill are some of the common New Year`s Resolutions.
