Today, the 7th of February, is World Read Aloud Day! This day is dedicated to the practice of reading aloud.
Reading is fun, and I encourage you all to practise reading aloud today.

What are our 6-9 year old students learning this week?
Good morning everyone!
This week our P4 (6-9 year old) are learning about what kind of activities they like to do. We will be practising the language pattern;
'What does he/she like to do now?'
'He/She likes reading comic books.'

ネイティブの小学生向けに作られたCD-ROMを使いながら学ぶインタラクティブクラスで、ゲーム内の英語の指示を聞いてスラスラとゲームをクリアし目的地に進めている小5生のAちゃん(英検4級取得済み)。
指示は全文を訳そうとすると英検2級以上のレベルのこともありますが、Aちゃんのすごいところは要点である単語や表現を瞬時に聞いて判断しているところ！
これこそが、リスニングをする上でとても大切な事なのですが、順調にその力が培われている姿に感動しました！
これからも頑張っていきましょう☆

Did you know that on January 31st, 1797, Austrian composer Franz Schubert was born? Schubert is well known for his chamber music and lieder compositions.
Some of our students study music - have you ever played or listened to a piece by Franz Schubert?
Meche-Sensei studied music at university and she enjoys many of Schubert's works.

What are our 4-6 year old students learning this week?
Good morning everyone,
This week's lesson for our P3 (4-6 year old) students is about location!
We will ask one another the question, 'where are you?'. Students can answer by saying 'I am in the bedroom.'
We will also try to locate items, for example, 'where is the pen?'. Students can answer this question by saying, 'it is in the bedroom'.
