Spring Break and Spring Prospects
Though the sakura hasn't started blooming quite yet, spring is in the air here at Yonago! New students have been joining us in preparation for April, and we are ready to continue welcoming new faces. Brand New Books, Brand New Students!
For the past two weeks we have been passing out new textbooks to our students in preparation for the new year. At the same time, new students have been gradually joining us at Yonago Amity. Yesterday a baby boy enjoyed a trial lesson and smiled throughout it! It's such a privilege to help the little ones grow up.
先週の土曜日に雪がちらつきましたね。
まだまだ寒い日もありますが、春はそこまでやってきているようです。
外の雪を見て「先生、雪起こしって英語で何ですかー？」と。

A time and a season for everything
The cherry blossoms are just around the corner both figuratively and literally, as we prepare our students to matriculate to their next level on their English journey! We've had a great year and we look forward to all the old and new friends we will see again in April!
Today a brand new student joined his first class. At first he was nervous, but gradually loosened up and laughed a lot with his classmates in the lesson. It is wonderful to see a new student fit in so well, and I am glad he came to Amity and was met with a warm atmosphere and kindness! ~ Leah Sensei
先日、共通テストに向けた学習の中で、
ガンディーについての長文がありました。
その生徒は「概ね知っていたので内容がわかりやすかった」と言い、
その問題は満点を取りました。
英語のテストですが、一般教養の知識も必要なんですね。
その基礎があるだけで、試験の解き易さ・点数が格段に上がります。
アミティーに来てくださっている生徒さんは。
「英語が一番得意！」「英語が一番点が取れる！」と言ってくださる生徒さんがたくさんいらっしゃいます。
もちろん、それは素晴らしいことで、私たちもとっても嬉しいです！
ですが、ほかの強化と切り離さず、何かつながりを見つけて、英語から派生する総合力もつけていけると
さらなるレベルアップにつながるかもしれませんね☆
