In America, Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated every year on March 17th. Usually we celebrate with parades and festivals of green to bring good luck! But did you know that the true meaning of Saint Patrick's Day is much deeper than good luck?
Saint Patrick was a real person who immigrated to Ireland from England in order to study and spread Christianity. He would often use a clover (or shamrock 🍀) in his teachings which is why the holiday is celebrated today with the color green and images of shamrocks and gold. People believe that wearing green can bring good luck on this holiday and if you decide not to wear green you might regret it! People who do not wear green may find themselves getting pinched! Wearing green can help you hide from Leprechauns (mischievous little fairies that like to pinch people).
Normally, Irish Americans eat corned beef and mashed potatoes with cabbage for Saint Patrick's Day as it is a traditional food of Ireland. In Chicago, the city dyes the entire river green to start the celebration!

卒業式や入学式など大事なイベントが多いこの時期、体調不良でお休み、、なんて絶対に避けたいですよね。
そんな時〖「体調管理」をしっかりしてね！〗と伝える場面が多いのではないでしょうか？
体調管理は英語で''health management''と言います。
周りの人に伝えるときはぜひこう言ってあげましょう。
Please take care of your body!
take care of は直訳すると「お世話をする」という意味です。
自分の体の世話をする＝体調管理をする と英語で表現することが出来るんですね。

In light of the our new South African NET. Here are some traditional South African foods that you can learn about. In South Africa braa-ing is a big part of the culture. Braa-ing is equivalent to barbecuing. Attached you will see a picture of a traditional braai plate. On the plate is a serving of pap, chakalaka, coleslaw, and some meat.
